Pros: Has a mere 0.6-inch thickness.
Cons: Has only a 12-bit, 4,000-color display, which is considerably less favorable than some similarly priced handhelds.For example, the Dell Axim X51, a Pocket PC-based handheld at around $300, has a 16-bit, 64,000-color display.Weighing in at 6.3 ounces, this handheld is somewhat heavy compared with most other devices.Since this device runs on Pocket PC, it will work only with Windows, not with Linux or Macintosh operating systems.There are still more third-party applications for Palm OS than for Pocket PC, but that is changing.
Suitability: Suited for someone who wants basic PIM functions.Also, this handheld should be passable for viewing color images (given that it supports 4,000 colors at a resolution of 240x320).
Value: In view of its relatively inexpensive price, this handheld has great features for the money.Note that a similarly capable PDA could cost as much as $375.
