"Traded up from my ToshibaPPC to this IPAQ and no regrets"
Pros: Clear sharp screen, fast processor, expansion slot, bluetooth and wireless, fingerprint security
Cons: Internet explorer can't be viewed "Landscape"
Summary: With a faster processor, and clearer screen, switching from my Toshiba was a definite trade up. Because of the faster speed, I am able to use my Palm apps, with the help of StyleTap.
I have yet to use, but like the option of 'finger print security' with this unit. My personal opinion is that this particular IPAQ model is more for the professional/business man than the average user. There is what appears to be a SIMM chip slot under the battery, but there is a VOID IF REMOVED sticker over the slot.
My unit came with the MOBePay Outpost credit card scanner, which makes for great banking. All you need is the MOBePay software and normal internet banking.
There doesn't seem to be an upgrade to WM5 for this IPAQ (yet, I hope) which is why you can use Internet Explorer in landscape which would make for easier surfing.
