"Good device, fragile screen not covered by warranty!"
Pros: Nice product, works well, although I could not get a version of realplayer for it, or opera.
Cons: Screen cracked after 4 days of use, and HP consider ALL sceen breakages as user abuse. The repair costs more than a new device, so this is the last HP device I will buy for a while...

i hade my ipaq for about a month and my screen is fine and i am a very heavy user i use it about 6hrs every day and nothing has happened to it yet

Two months into learning and loving my new ipaq rx3715 I put my earbuds inside my leather carry-all protector along with my ipaq. An hour later when I removed the ipaq it had a very large black spot on it and no picture. HP tells me there is NO WARRANTY on displays and it will cost $225 for a new one. That is half of the $450 I'm still making payments on! The HP service rep told me to treat it like a "Little Baby" I had been very careful with it and had no idea the screen could break so easily? I am really bummed out as this was a big purchase for me since fracturing my spine and trying to live on a disabilty check the last five years!
