"Navman - decent hardware - poor install software"
Pros: Price - $329 at Frys
Cons: terrible install software for SmartST

"A $600 piece of useless plastic"
Pros: Fine address book/calendar
Cons: navigation system stinks
Summary: This unit is worthless as a navigation system. The system virtually never finds the satellite and when it does I've been on the road for 20 muinutes or more. (And then, frankly, the sytems is inferior to the one I have in a car I had.)

"Adequate as a GPS / PDA, there are better on the market."
Pros: Reasonabaly Priced. Map coverage supplied with the UK version excellent.
Cons: Software loading problems. Had to purchase the additional aerial, for it to function properly.Tech support useless.
Summary: Purchased the Navman Mio 168 Digiwalker and bought the upgrade to V3.0 SmartST. The map coverage supplied in the UK is excellent. However, this is let down by install problems. Fed up with having to re-install software when battery runs down. It doe... read more >>
