"It's not a PDA or an all-in-one device, and that's a good thing"
Pros: Big screen, Linux
Cons: No IM, or VoIP support... yet
Summary: This is the device I've been waiting for after I sold my laptop. I've been wanting a device just to surf the internet. Laptops are too big to easily pull out if you just want to check something on the net, and PDAs have too small of resolutions for normal web browsing and have millions of features that aren't extremely important and just add to the cost.
You could say it's a striped down PDA with a bigger and better screen, but that's exactly what you need if your main focus is simply browsing the internet on the go.
Buy a DS if you want to play games on the go, buy an iPod if you want to listen to music on the go, buy a N770 if you want to browse the internet on the go, cause that's what it's made for.

I've been thinking about buying one of these gadgets. Your comments and insight help. Maybe an early Christams gift? FYI: I've found a matching price on nokiausa.com with free shipping. Don't know how long it last. Thanks CNET for providing the video demo!
