Summary: I was given a palm m105 as a gift a few years back, never could get it to work. thought it was me not being very technically minded. Must admit they did give a replacement that worked great for the initial first few days until it also died, by then it was well out of warranty. Still trying to turn it on now what a waste of money & time.

Summary: This was my first PDA. Very impressive and easy to use; especially, in my particular case, the Notepad option since I had to take notes all day long.
The main problem, the only one I encountered and a very BIG one at that, were the batteries. Mfr recommended to change the 2 batteries one at a time within 10 seconds in order not to lose any data. This worked a few times and nothing was lost; then, one day, upon removing the first battery to replace it, the PDA shut down. It came back on when the first battery was replaced but all data was gone. Even though, the batteries were replaced at the first alarm, I believe the alarm came on too late. Had the mfr simply included rechargeable batteries, this entry-level popular product would have been a lot more popular.
The above scenario with the batteries was the main reason many clients returned that model.
