"Best Palm Ever"
Pros: Big screen, sleek, thin profile
Cons: Digitizer needs reset frequently
Summary: I am a Palm fan but openminded enough to switch to non-Palm product if and when a better one comes out. I have used or demo'd all PDAs including the Treo and Windows based ones. I keep coming back to the Palm Vx .It just works. I buy them used off eBay and my wife and mother use them. I am a heavy user, probably using the PDA 25 times a day. I have worn out 3 or 4 Palm Vx models. They are cheap now to buy online-- $70 bucks or so, but they are better that the $500+ Palms and other PDAs in my opinion.
I really am cheering for Treo to some up with a combined phone,email device, and organizer that meets my needs. I demo'd the Treo for a month but it is too unstable for email. Thus I lug around my Palm Vx, a Blackberry and a good Nokia cell phone, praying for the day when Palm or Blackberry finally get it right.
I look at PDAs daily online and try them out at least once a month but have been using my Palm Vx for 5+ years because nothing beats it. It does get off center and you have to reset the digitizer every few weeks but this is minor bother.
