"Great little PDA!"
Pros: Simple, easy, small, light, good battery life.
Cons: No screen cover included, flimsy stylus.
Summary: This is a great little entry-level PDA. Purchased one for my wife as a paper organizer replacement, added key apps like dictionary and subway maps. It fits the bill almost perfectly. Ordered Air Case to protect the unit - no screen cover included. Great job, Palm! Keep this up and we won't care so much about Franken-Garnet!

I really didn't want to buy a new PDA. My trusty old Palm Vx did everything I wanted it to. Until I bought a new apple PowerBook -- and nobody (not even the mac genius) could make my Palm and my laptop talk to each other. Well, I just couldn't live like that, so when Palm recently revealed the less-than-$100 z22, I bought one. Yes, it has color, and more memory, and it does hotsync beautifully to the laptop, and it is even much lighter-weight than the Vx (which is nice since my purse is heavy enough) but it looks and feels like a toy! And it responds to the stylus less quickly and less precisely than my old Palm Vx. Should I have just swallowed hard and forked over more dough for a PDA that looked and felt like something an adult would want? I teach elementary school. My students think it is awesome! Too bad I don't.
