Description: The Pharos Drive GPS 135 is a Windows CE-based, consumer-oriented handheld device.Compared to other consumer-oriented handhelds on the market, it is relatively inexpensive at around $160.You can expand the memory of this unit using Secure Digital (SD), or MMC media.Runs on Microsoft Windows CE 4.2.

Pros: This device is equipped with GPS, allowing you to identify your geographical location on-the-fly, via satellite, from locations across the country.

Cons: Has a somewhat hefty, 1-inch thickness, which is considerably bulkier than some similarly priced handhelds.Also, this handheld runs on the Microsoft Windows CE 4.2 operating system, which is somewhat less advanced than some similarly priced handhelds.(Both the PocketPC and Palm OS platforms enjoy wider support from third party application developers, as compared to WinCE.)

Suitability: Ideal for someone who wants basic PIM functions.Also, this handheld should be adequate for viewing color images (given that it supports 64,000 colors at a resolution of 320x240).
