The Green Creative BR30 Cloud LED is a highly efficient floodlight with a highly unusual design. Click through to get to know this unique light a little better.

The Cloud LED "floats" the diodes up above the base of the bulb. This helps cut down on the materials needed to produce the thing, making it cheaper and more lightweight. It also helps the bulb manage heat particularly well -- similar to what we saw with the Philips SlimStyle BR30, which also takes an unusual approach to design.

This 2,700 K variety of the Cloud LED puts out a stated brightness of 650 lumens. When we tested it out in our lab, the Cloud LED scored even higher.

You'll get that light from a power draw of just 8 watts -- lower than any other BR30 we've tested thus far. That makes it the most efficient floodlight ever to pass through our lab.

The Cloud LED comes in four color temperature varieties, including an extra warm model that shines at a low 2,400 K, and a 4,000 K daylight model.
