Pros: Great cel shaded look, innovative weapon system, hours and hours of gameplay possible, mini-games are fun and challenging

Cons: Will suck hours of your life away

Summary: I never thought I could put this many hours into a non final fantasy game. Already I'm up to 140 hours of play. The graphics are great on the game and the gameplay itself is fantastic. Real time combat is fast-paced and the weapon system is unique because it replaces leveling up your characters. The weapons themselves level up and through the use of special items, defenses of your characters increase. Georama, or placing buildings/fences/tree/etc on the maps, is also a very nice touch as it lets you create your own little world complete with NPC characters that reside in the houses you build. These characters can also be recruited as support characters each with unique abilities. Fans of dark cloud 1 may see this as familiar territory but trust me, dark cloud 2 improves on EVERY aspect of the game and will keep you up late into the night (morning?!). Go out and buy this game today - you won't regret it.
