Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (PlayStation 2)

Pros: unique style, excellent graphics, great storyline

Cons: more addicting than crack

Summary: This game is absolutely amazing. To begin with, the Metal Gear series is its own genre of game in and of itself. "Stealth Espionage Action" is how they describe it and that pretty much sums it up. This isn't one of those run around blasting away until everyone is dead games like every other game these days that involves guns. You have to use stealth, camo, and intel to get the missions done. The graphics are also fantastic in this game, much better than MGS2. Also, the Metal Gear series is known for its long cut scenes and over the top "I didn't see that coming" type of plot twists. It makes you feel like you're watching a movie while playing a video game. And last, but certainly not least, Snake is probably the most badass character of any game ever made.
