"Spider-Man Friend or Foe has its excellent points...and it's downright @#$%%^ points"
Pros: Good animation, lengthy levels, pretty awesome combat moves
Cons: If I were an assassin, I would love the fact that all you do is beat and blow up things
Summary: I'm going to start out by beating up the game verbally a little bit.
When I first got it, I noticed right away that the game was about beating up a bunch of imaginary robots with low intelligence. I also noticed that it took forever to save up your "tech-tokens", or money, to upgrade Spidey or your disgruntled sidekicks.
But, if you do upgrade everybody and everything, the game becomes increasingly fun. But that fun has it's limit. How fun can beating up a bunch of low AI, imaginary robots, get? Not very fun. But I gave the game an 8 because the multiplayer vs. mode makes up for that and because the combat moves and sidekicks are great. And also because once you've owned the game for a while, you get used to the repetitiveness and can focus more on combat style and beating up your friend in multiplayer vs. mode. I recommend buying it if you want a fun, relaxing, but violent, game to play instead of games like "jericho" or "Assassin's Creed" that nearly put me into cardiac arrest.
