"Bloodshot eyes and on the verge of divorce!"
on by stewy38Pros Beautiful game - appealing style
Endless amounts of weapons
Less dialogue and more actionCons Some glitches - getting stuck but nothing worth mentioning
Vehicle mechanics are not the bestSummary I have played Fallout 3, Bioshock, Killzone 2, and numerous other genres of games. This game had me curling up and giggling like a little girl for days. Who cares if there are a couple of glitches? This game is nice to look at, has you in constant action if you so desire, the amount of weaponry is mind-numbing, and you don't have to constantly read endless amounts of ridiculous text to advance the story (ie: Fallout 3...sorry that game really urped me!) Get the game and pay full price if need be! I am just a fan of new inventive games that give you your moneys worth. Trust me when I say... this game is top shelf entertainment.

"17 million guns - 4 DLC - Amazing Gameplay"
on by TmobiletxuserPros I absolutly love this game...I was told about it by one of my coworkers and i could not put it down. The graphics are amazing and I love the fact that every gun is different. - Huge levels and extra dlc that keeps you playing for weeks.
Cons I wish that there was a dedicated 4 vs 4 online mode in a full level - it would be awesome playing CTF on any of the maps. Modders make gameplay online boring.
Summary I have let friends and coworkers borrow my game and everyone - (yes everyone) goes out and buys it after playing. I have 8 level 70 characters, 300 highest rated (dark)Orange variants none modded (including a Malwin Hellfire X4 266dm 12.5 rof and Jacobs Unforgiven Masher 489x7 (revolver) and at least 50 Pearls (i have all + variants of each, none modded) and all pearl shields. Almost 300 hours of gameplay. (PS3) The only game that comes close to this for me is Gears Of War.

"Many hours of gaming here."
on by kenmil01Pros Game seems to go forever - good value.
Dozens of weapons and great weapon informationCons Endless pickups using a button is very annoying.
A few too many bugs that see you trapped between objects and needing a restart.
Compass is slightly problematic and will lead you astray if you folow it exactly.Summary I really dislike games that finish too soon, leaving me feeling cheated. That is not the case with Borderlands; it seems to keep going and going. Lots of side quests, challenges and enemies. Heaps of weapons, and some really great upgrades. Enemies are mostly easybeats, but difficult enough to keep you absorbed in the game. Driving the vehicles is a challenge in itself, with very touchy steering controls. All in all, this is a very entertaining game, and whilst not in the class of games like Bioshock, or Dead Space, it is still a game that will not disappoint.
