"MW2 fans will like... Black Ops fans should stay away!"
on by costindbPros Great story line. The graphics are improved over Black Ops, spec ops are back. Great options for multiplayer and on line spec ops. Some cool new perks to play with. Awesome use of death streaks and kill streaks.
Cons Everything Black Ops did well has been taken out of this game. Multiplayer is heavily lacking the fixes of black ops such as: bullets around corners, bad respawn locations, dropped games, & lag.
Zombies has been removed.
Campaign is WAY TOO SHORT!Summary This is a good game and I don't regret getting it, but I can't help but feel that this game really missed the mark in advancing the series. A step up from Modern Warfare 2 and a step back from Black-Ops.
While graphically it looks and feels better than Black-Ops, it is far less refined from the perspective of game-play, motion, entertainment, and over-all quality. The story is entirely too short, I finished it in a few hours. In contrast to both the MW2 and Black-Ops whose campaigns took me 2-3 days of game play to finish. The multiplayer mode is plagued with the same problems as MW2. The emblem creator has been removed. The choice of unlocking attachments in whatever order you want has also been removed. Zombies has been removed. Wager matches have been removed (including gun games, one in the chamber, and sticks and stones). A lot of the camo's, and customization options have been removed.
When I purchased Black-Ops I sold my MW2 game within a month because I knew I would never play it again. After purchasing MW3, I will definitely be holding on to Black-Ops.
If you liked MW2, you will like this game a lot. If you liked Black-Ops more than MW2, this game will leave a lot to be desired.
