Pros Visuals look like they came out of a hollywood blockbuster
Gameplay and controls are tight.
Use of 6 axis controls
Cons Way too short
Not as much use of 6 axis as i would've liked.
Summary I remember the day i got this. It was in my unemployment days. I had no solid source of income, but decided i needed a ps3, and some games to go along with it.
I couldn't have made a better purchase. I unwrapped this, popped it in, and couldnt stop playing it.
Though it may seem like your typical hack&slash, it's graphics make up for it. The defense system is another thing i liked.
Like a few other games I know for the system, it was like playing a movie. The animation they did with these characters is unbelievable. Finally a little animation value on the eyes and mouth. It actually looks like theyre talking rather than being like Japanese Anime characters through out the game
Gameplay = 8/10
Graphics = 10+/10
Replayability = 7/10
Pros Gameplay is awesome
Awesome looking graphics
Love using Sixaxis to guide thrown objects/arrows
Cons Only 5 chapters
some stages can be impossible to beat
Summary Im glad I got this game. Found it at a Blockbuster for $25.00(haha). Sucks that its discontinued but most likely they will make a sequel or an upgrade (Example: Guilty Gear Accent Core PLUS). If you can find this game for cheap, I strongly recommend getting this game while they last.

Cons Aerial moves are somewhat hard to do...
Summary One of the few games to date to show/unlock PS3's potential...
"Short and sweet"on by dbtwin28
Pros Voice acting
Cons Too short, mini games don't allow you to focus on great action scene
Summary HS is a pretty cool game. I really wish the camera would stay tighter on the action, so you can see more detail in the characters, but I understand a wider angle is needed when taking on a screen full of enemies. I also really like the sixaxis control in aftertouch mode. So far it is the only fun I've had with sixaxis.

Pros graphics, objectives
Cons game play and fighting
Summary This review is to not only to evaluate Heavenly Sword but most games put out in this industry. The game gave no consideration for someone having to sit through 2 minutes of video or scenes until you can restart an area you died in. Perfect example is in the beginning of the game when you have to use the cannons to defeat the catapults. If you do not make it, you need to go through a very inconvenient wait time until you can go again. This is apparent throughout the entire game. I have found although the industry has improved graphics they still have not removed many of the problems that involve game play which is amazing considering the technology.
When fighting combatants the character moves in such a fast and erratic motion that it is not really enjoyable when making moves to kill or defend.
