"Wonderful piece of equipment for Graphics Artist"
Pros: Essential tool to be used in conjunction with Photoshop.
Cons: Expensive. It will take some time to get use to holding the stylus.
Summary: I would say if you are in to computer graphics than this should be the minimum size you should purchase. Having used the smaller versions, the 9x12 gives you plenty of room to mimic a pen/pencil/brush stroke.
As I've said before, it takes some time to get accustomed to holding and using the stylus. I became adjusted in just over a week of consistent use (and I'm dumber than a box full of hair, imagine how long it will take you to get used to it).
This tablet does work well with CAD software. However, given how often you're tapping on the tablet to invoke certain commands this will definitely annoy your fellow overly sensitive co-workers who will hound you with irate grievances in regards to the constant tapping/scraping sounds. The mouse and stylus make excellent projectiles.
Again, these things aren't cheap. So if you're just a novice graphic artist(or a hobbit) then the smaller versions should be sufficient.
