Polk Audio I-Sonic ES2

Pros: Good alternative to a BOSE System.

Cons: Poor and unacceptable product reliability.

Summary: This product was purchased during the pre-Christmas shopping promotion. Initially, the unit was working fine and after about two months my wife complained there was no sound coming from the iPod dock or AUX CD input. Assuming that it was an operator problem, another month lapse before I got around to checking out her complaint (and after trouble shooting with the help from Polk and Crutchfield customer service) the problem turned out to be a defect in the audio circuit. Early product failure in an expensive electronic system is unacceptable. We returned the unit back to Crutchfield for only a "partial" reimbursement.
This experience has left us with an unpleasant experience with shopping online.
