"Watched one movie before the screen died completely"
Pros: I guess I like that....I don't know. I don't think I like anything about it. It is region-free. Or so they say. I never got to test it out.
Cons: Pretty much everything.
Summary: I got through one 100 minute movie. Didn't use it again until my 30 day in-store warranty was up (my fault not that I kept the receipt anyway), and fired it up a few weeks later. At first I thought it wasn't on, then I heard the dialog of the movie I wanted to watch. If I get it into just the right light - bright, but no glare, I can tell there is a picture somewhere. Even the one movie I did watch I thought had pretty awful image quality. But, what do you want for a $69 portable DVD player. Maybe they're just trying to teach society a lesson about "convenience"...
I will never buy another COBY product again.
