Its a great portable dvd player and has many cool featuresby bigmo102002 - December 18, 2005
Pros: It plays many kinds of cds even mp3 cds
Cons: It is alittel big and loud when reading a cd

I had the old model(1810)and it got defective in 3 months.but the new one i had it for a year and it still works great

One word - Awful! Defective from very 1st play. Don't Buy.by BubbaG - November 22, 2005
Pros: Nice Screen Size and reasonable pricing. But those advantages are worthless if the dang thing don't work!
Cons: Defective out of the box. DVD playback freezes consistantly about 1/2 hour into play mode. This happened with the very first DVD that was played on the unit. Very dissappointing.
Review:
Although this DVD player was priced very attractively at the Warehouse Retailer it really is no bargain if the unit is junk. DVD playback freezes consistantly on the unit I purchased and this happened with the very first DVD inserted in to the unit. Take a look at the user review of Mintek's previous model (#1810) and it looks like this is a naggingly persistant defect from this manufacturer. Well, looks like I'm the first to confirm that this problem has not been fixed with their new 1815 model. Do yourself a favor and avoid this product.
