the unit can accept 240V in Europe, so inly an adaptor would be necessary, not a transformer.

Great For all Uses
Pros: This unit plays all types for media (DVD+R DL, DVD +/- R/RW), but most of all it playes DIVX with multiple audio tracks. The 12-Hour Battery rocks.
Cons: The fact that there is no Remote Control with this unit
Review: This is the perfect device for the business traveler. It has a 12-Hour battery for those long-haul flights or long layovers at an airport. The ability to hook this unit up to many hotel TV's is absolutley awesome. The most important plus to this device is its multi media types it plays (DVD+R DL, DVD+/-R/RW, etc) and the ability to play Divx files even ones with multiple audio streams. The screen tilt feature is very cool as well, esoecially on the plae when the person in front of you jacks their seat all the way back. If this player has one flaw....it is that it doesnt have a remote contol (this is the only reason it is a 9 instead of a 10). I would highly recommend this player to anyone.

Review: Bought this to take on a flight to Europe. The 12-Hour Battery enticed me and worked beautifully. Many players are said to not have volume loud enough for airplanes, but with quality headphones I could hear every word. With the airlines cramming extra seats on the planes, I highly recommend you buy this player, take your favorite movies, and mentally escape being in such a cramped space! Note: If you are taking this to Europe, you will need Both a transformer and a converter so you can re-charge the battery for your return flight. Since it works so well on a plane (the ultimate test, I think) it works great in a car and at home. As a person who researches the dickens out of a product prior to purchase, I could not be more pleased with this DVD player. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
