"love it -- when it works" on
Pros: sharp, gorgeous picture
Cons: worked great for about a year then I had to replace the laser unit to the tune of $200+. Two years later, with VERY infrequent use, it's busted again and not worth the repair.

"Battery Life, Battery Life, Battery Life" on
Pros: I find it hard to believe that no one mentions battery life with this player. It easily goes for 5 hours on the included battery, 7-10 hours on a high-capacity battery. This is 2-3 times that of any other player I've seen.

"Best Bang For Buck Player.." on
Summary: After doing much research on every possible portable dvd player, I decided on the LV70. I was skeptical because I noticed there were several new players out with 9" and 10" screens. So I was worried that the 7" was too small. I would say 7" is perfect. Anything larger, and the player becomes less portable and closer to a lab tob. The main 2 reasons I was sold on this player is the sound and battery life. Sound is great and can be heard just fine without head phones, un like some of the other more expensive players. And with a 5 hour battery life, it last almost twice as long as the other models.
