    "CNET's Mr. Olson is Wrong, Wrong, Wrong"

    Summary: Don't believe that review for a minute! Everyone else on this forum is correct, the DVL-80U is a great deal. I've owned mine for over a year with no regrets! And what does he mean about the audio compression and video functions only working when the unit is hooked to a TV? Those functions all work GREAT! And I'm sorry, but using arrow keys to scroll up and down menus is NOT cumbersome! And, I don't know about Mr. Olson, but I have one digital optical cable leading from mine to my sound system and it's great. May I suggest Mr. Olson read the manual the next time?
