In reality, most of us bought this player in order for our child to enjoy the long car/plane rides. The child often slips with their hands or meddles with the buttons, thus requiring a restart of the power, play video, cue, and/or adjust light/sound settings....
this all ended with the advent of the HOLD button. Or should I say carry over from our old friend the DISCMAN!
