Pros Size is perfect for packing into a travel bag for weekends away. Sound is very good for the size of the unit. AC & DC power an advantage.
Cons Agree with others that the flap that packs the unit away is not the best after a few uses. It's bent completely one way to set up then back the other to pack. Maybe some sort of clip would work better? Slightly unsteady when setup but hey, it's meant to b
Summary I also own a Bose Portable Dock which has awesome sound for the size but it's just a bit bulky to be hauling around when you've packed light for a couple of days away. The Altec iMT320 is just the right size. Compared it to at least 8 other similar-sized units when buying and it definately has better sound (even better when you place it in a corner).
Pros good sound all ranges. Design, very light and small.
Cons little tilty once set down. No remote.
Summary For around $50 you aren't going to get much better than this. Of course the higher priced units sound better, but this one is quite capable for what you are paying. Very happy.

Pros Very portable, sounds good, lightweight
Cons cover sometimes difficult to close
Pros Compact with integrated cover
Charges device if speakers are off
Remembers Volume Setting when re-docked
Cons Awkward button placement (behind device)
Speakers turn off too quickly
Volume resets when powered back on
Faint buzz at peak volume
Summary I was able to pick up my Altec speakers at Costco for $39.99. I keep them on my desk at work and am glad I can grab them to go whenever I want. Great purchase for the money. As with many portable speakers, volume range is limited but sound is good until you reach max volume. Then there's a slight background buzz. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
Pros Sound and size
Cons Cover difficult to close and when used as a stand it is difficult sometimes in keeping it upright if bumped; not very sturdy cover.
Summary Excellent value. Being used constantly by a teen to listen from, charge iTouch, take to parties.
