    Pros: Compact with integrated cover
    Battery Compartment
    Good Sound
    Affordable
Charges device if speakers are off
    Remembers Volume Setting when re-docked

Cons: Awkward button placement (behind device)
    Speakers turn off too quickly
Volume resets when powered back on
    Faint buzz at peak volume

Summary: I was able to pick up my Altec speakers at Costco for $39.99. I keep them on my desk at work and am glad I can grab them to go whenever I want. Great purchase for the money. As with many portable speakers, volume range is limited but sound is good until you reach max volume. Then there's a slight background buzz. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
