"Don't Buy It."
Pros: If you can turn it ON it sounds better than most small speakers.
Cons: It is hard to turn on and off, approaching impossible.
Summary: I was seduced by the price and simplicity of this Philips speaker. I like the way it stores it's own cable. I had trouble turning it on, then more trouble turning it off. The chromed ring around the speaker grill is meant to be turned a few degrees to switch the speaker on and off. Whatever mechanism is employed needs redesign. I've thrown mine in the trash as I could no longer work the switch.
