Pros: clean, crisp, clear sound at all volume level. absolutely no distortion
Cons: none except there is no am fm radio built in, little pricey but worth the money
Summary: got this for christmas and am totally impressed with the sound. makes me wanna listen to all my music all over again on this system. i don't think separate base and treble controls are necessary, the sound is automatically blended perfectly at all volume levels. i highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed. bottom line, you get what you pay for.

Pros: Bose sound quality, with deep base and plenty of volume. Will play all day without needing a charge.
Cons: It does not have the Bose wave sound system, which would have made this dock even more incredible.
Summary: The Bose SoundDock portable is more expensive than other iPod docks on the market, but you get what you pay for. If you want beautiful sound reproduction, deep bases, great volume, and portability, Bose is worth the investment. Mine came with a messenger type bag that keeps the SoundDock, power supply, remote control, and even my iPod in one nice easy to carry bag.

Cons: Expensive, Volume buttons are touchy
Summary: I think the highs and lows are reproduced nicely from this device. Charges Iphone quickly. You can tell a difference in sound quality compared to other brands. I have owned this product for about a year and half and still satisfied!

Pros: Sound isn't lost when outside. Portable, small with big sound
Cons: Base is not deep enough but then again it is a portable sound dock
Summary: In the review it mentions that it doesn't have a clock or radio. If you have your IPOD or IPHONE docked, why would you need either? Great comment about the price versus competition, but you need to realize you pay for proven quality. Atec lansing is probably the better value of price versus sound. Still I love it.

Cons: Way Over Priced, No bass or treble controls, Clumsy to carry around, Sound is not as stunning as expected.
