"Well worth every penny. Time to experiment =]"
Pros: Sound Quality, performance, funcations
Cons: Why would there be cons.
Summary: Letâ??s see where I should start, Iâ??m an audio specialist working down in New York with all sorts of audio equipment. I just recently bought the iSymphony M1 system from circuit city just for a temporary replacement stereo after ours died couple of months ago. I wasnâ??t expecting much from a multifunction $200 stereo system which brand I have never heard of. I was about to be amazed. I connected everything up and grabbed the remote ready to test out the system. I switched it on and flipped to iPod mode. The sound coming out of two bookshelf speakers equipped with a 4â?? woofer and a 1â?? tweeter was just astonishing. The sound without any BBS or EQ was full and rich with amazing highs lows and mids. As soon as I switched on Bass Boot and EQ the sound was just killer, my wife barged into the room yelling to low it down at 09/30 and starting to argue on my for spending what she thought was 600$ on this audio system. When I told her, the true price of the she was surprised for the sound it gave off well worth every penny. We blasted this system for a while maybe 3 weeks then my friend gave me the idea of upgrading the speakers on the system. If it was this good with bookshelf speakers, it must sound better with bigger badboys. So I went to best buy and searched around for speakers that might suit my needs, I tried out every speaker there from bookshelf to floor standing. I found it best with floorstanding. I walked out of best buy with 4 Klipsch Synergy floorstanding speakers it was very pricey but was worth trying them out. I didnâ??t have the best experience testing them out there cause the Yamaha amplifier was lacking in sound quality. Let me first explain why I purchased 4 instead of two. I had to purchase 4 because the output on the system is 50 watts peak per channel at 4 ohms and these speakers were rated for 8 ohms so I will have to parallel connect each channel with two sets, maybe two front two sides. Or two fronts two backs, however after I connected them up to the system I used the line out port on the back of the iSymphony system and hooked it up to my Klipsch subwoofer. When all connections were done, I turned the system on, and oh yes the sound was truly amazing. I couldnâ??t be more happier with iSymphony. I purchased extended warranty on the system so if anything happens it gets replaced with the m110 one step higher in sound =].
