JBL has added another Lightning speaker dock to its lineup, the $149 OnBeat Mini.

Due to ship in March, this one's geared to folks who own iPad Minis, but it also accommodates other iOS devices that use the new Lightning connector, including the iPhone 5, the latest iPod Touch, and the iPad 4.

JBL says the OnBeat Mini provides up to 5 hours of playback when used with batteries (alas, there's no built-in rechargeable battery) and charges the iPad Mini, iPhone 5, iPad 4th generation, and new iPod models when used with the included AC adapter. The portable speaker also includes a built-in USB connector to power and play other portable devices.

Recently, JBL introduced the JBL OnBeat Venue LT and JBL OnBeat Micro, so the OnBeat Mini is the company's third Lightning-equipped speaker dock.
