"Great Speakers in a Super Compact and Stylish Package" on by Gators300

Pros: Great Sound Quality, Super Compact, Stylish, Good Battery Life, and Good Value

Cons: Minor Distortion in Top Volume Levels

Summary: I picked these up looking for a small set of portable speakers that didn't rely on external power, (i.e. the device it was playing). When you first play these things you will, no doubt, be quite amazed at the sound quality. Just looking at their size one automatically sets low expectations for the sound quality, but WOW they sound good. They are also sufficiently loud, (and by that I mean you could have them at 75% volume in the shower and hear great). At the highest levels, (18-20 on a 20 point scale) the sound starts to distort, but that is the only con on these great speakers. When closed they are super small and look stylish with the shiny exterior. At only $60 you are getting a great value, especially since the battery inside is rechargeable and lasts quite a while. Overall a great product!

"Gets the job done" on by Bizdoggie

Pros: extremely portable, decent volume, rechargeable

Cons: short cords, no volume control

Summary: If you need portability, get these. If you just need speakers, you can get better sound quality for half the price with most desktop speakers.

Speaking of which, I found my LG MSP-100 for $28.60 + $5.99 shipping at YourWirelessSource.com. They were branded Verizon -- just search for "MSP-100" -- but are the exact same product. The merchant delivered as promised with no problems.

The speakers work fine, and are mandatory if you get one of the new Apple Macbooks, which have terrible speakers. I wish the cord connecting laptop and speakers was longer, and that there was a volume control on the unit, but those are nitpicky details. I do wonder if/when the internal battery will burn out.

I noted that the included AC adapter plugs in with a USB connection, and am wondering if the speakers can be powered/recharged using a USB cable from the laptop. I'll experiment and update this review when I find out.

    "great speakers!" on by truizification

Pros: small, compact and rechargable. I've had mine for over a year and still works well :) surprisingly loud

Cons: no volume control, but it will use mp3 or phone volums so essenyially you do have volume control

    Summary: perfect little speakers!

    "Short life" on by nohow

    Pros: Worked great, great sound.

Cons: Died within 6 weeks despite careful use.

Summary: Dead as a doornail. Ordered this via Amazon from one of their independent sellers, tsupra, who ignored my request (within active warranty time range) for help or a replacement.
By the way, this came with a "Cingular" brand imprint on the product casing.
