Pros: thin, portable, comes with adapter, plays well, can also use 4 AAA batteries, affordable ($60 at Fry's) and compared to other "never ever heard of" brands, a covering of the speaker but also a stand

Pros: It's compact, opens up with the lid becoming a stand, is a single piece unit, and is nice and loud.
Cons: Base isn't so great, but the real issue is that the battery compartment is horrifically small. I actually had to use my drill and knocked a hole right through the speakers, but at least they still work and I can pry my 4 AA batteries in and out.
