"A good step up from the sound bag"
Pros: Light, Full sound, battery OR mains
Cons: I want an even better bass!
Summary: I bought these speakers because I was a fan of the sound-bag. These are more expensive than the sound bag but have 2 advantages. (1) the sound is vastly improved and has a half decent bass (way better than other mp3 systems that i have heard). It is capable of filling a good sized room in stereo, thanks to the new technology. (2) The speakers work with batteries (for true portability on the beach) AND have a plug-in as well (so are perfect for my garage when I dont want to waste batteries!). Any device with the standard headphone (3.5mm) input jack will fit straight in and I love the design (speaker cover folds out to form a stand, and folds back as protection when carried). These speakers are fantastic value in my opinion.
