Pros Pros: Small, nice design (excluding the giant tacky "Oontz" logo and the blinking light) and it is rechargeable
Cons Con: Awful sound quality. It will get loud, but you lose so much sound quality that it begins to sound like a broken car speaker.
Summary I bought this product based on the Cnet review, in which they gave the Oontz a 7/10 rating in sound quality. I am guessing that the review was based more on the sound quality of the Oontz compared to other bluetooth speakers rather than the sound of a quality speaker. Save your money and buy something nicer.
Pros Clear sound, good bass, speakerphone capability
Cons ocassionally loses bluetooth connection, volume only "okay"
Summary Great value for under $50.
"Weak Sound"on by jrhindy
Pros Easy Synch and great look.
Cons even with volume turned to max the device was did not produce much louder volume than my iphone by itself. Charging has to be done with device in the on position.
Summary The blue light is not to bad, however for the price I would expected it to be louder. I also purchased a device from JLab at sometime for less and it was almost twice as loud with same sound quality.
Pros Sounds quality is amazing
Cons Blue light that flashes when charging
The mini usb charger rather than micro usb charger
Length of charging cord
Summary Bought this speaker based on the review here on CNET. Plus CNET had it on it on its list of best products of 2013.
Sounds is amazing, I listen to dance, house, pop, rock and folk.
Sounds great for all these genres. If you are into hip hop and
rap, are looking for booming bass. This is speaker is not for you. Bass is good just not bass in your face.
Extremely happy with this purchase. Thank CNET for the recommendation.
