2. Its not Open source.Summary: This is the best Mp3, PMP player i ever owned and let me tell you, i don't regret spending almost 500 bucks on it.
I owned alot of mp3 players (ipod classic, Zune, Cowon D2) and they all had their cons. This does have it cons but its not as bad the as the others.
Avi movies looks soo good on this, almost feels like watching HD content.

Just got the Archos 5 250g. I bought it to hold all my music and all of my videos(a lot of videos). After i was done streaming my friends came over and we watched a movie from the Archos to the tv using the mini dock. The Archos was charged for 8 hours during that time. I unplugged and went to lay down to listen after 30 minutes it shut off. I thought i froze. Nope ran out of battery. Charged for 8 hours overnight to it to work to listen while typing. LASTED 3 SONGS. Went home charged and got a timed 29 minute performance. Love my purchase NOT.
