"Great for kids...much cheaper that a IPOD"
Pros: Plays video, photos...nice design
Cons: No support for converting video
Summary: Really cool device for playing music. I simply drag and drop the mp3, wma or photo files (although I think using the WM sync might be better as photos take a while to display).
Video is another story. You'll need to use Window Media encorder ver 9 or 10 and you'll have to size the video by following the instructions found on the Disney/Memorex support site (see http://disney.memorexelectronics.com/downloads/DMP9050_WMV_encoding.pdf ) Would have been nice if they would have included a utility program to help with the encoding process.
