"not perfect, but amazingly handy"
Pros: small and easy to hook up to both pc and tv. Truly portable. Has played all the file types I've thrown at it.
Cons: Interface is awkward, name files carefully, you don't see much of the filename. Dislike the "auto preview" on videos as you navigate and don't see any way to turn it off.
Summary: Being the first attempt at this kind of transition product, Iomega did a great job. Yes, it's pricy for a 60GB HD and the interface leaves a lot to be desired, but on the other hand they got a lot right. It's small and light, truly portable. So far ... read more >>

Pros: Its handy.
Cons: Menu interface is hard to navigate. Remote is worse. Some audio/video codecs not supported. Poor support from iomega. No firmware updates. Poor picture quality.
Summary: It worked (played on TV) for a few months and then the video play back started freezing. Happen usually when the hard drive is hot, thats like 20 minutes or so. Iomega has the worst technical support. When your product is out of warranty, they will ... read more >>
