"Let's get real- 512MB or 1GB?"
Pros: Cool design
Cons: Price, capacity, no album art
Summary: Let's get real. The Nano is 2GB and 4GB. To come out with a flash player at 512MB at this point is like Ford coming out with a pony and carriage. Way too little way too late. Need 2GB and 4GB like the Nano if they plan on selling even 1 of these.

please. dont forget that the iRiver U10 is a PMP. and with all the features it offers, the 1GB is pretty nice deal. if you want to compare the U10 to an apple product, comparing it to a video ipod would make a better argument. also, if the U10 is like Ford releasing a horse and carriage, its probably a bionic one with rocket boosters or something.

cant say ive used it but i would imagine the interface of pushing buttons on the sides of the screen would be tedious if you had to navigate through a thousand tracks.
the 1 gb model would be equivalent to about 20 cd's or 240 tracks. imagine if u you used the u10's navigation for 4 gb's of space. 80 cd's/960 tracks -
I agree that the capacity is much too small in a player coming out at this time, but the main thing here is VIDEO. The Nano can't play em, while this can. You can fit 2-3 full length movies in 1GB or 10 episodes of 30 minute shows at medium-low quality.

I agree that 512 is weak but if it matched 2 GB or 4 GB then why would you ever buy the IPOD?
