"A Great Media Center Extension" on by joshyashi

Pros: The screen is clear, crisp and bright. The Windows Mobile interface is very easy to navigate and it also looks very sleek. It is very thin and light. Good included accessories.

Cons: Battery life isn't great. The navigation buttons are a little small and hard to press, but you can get used to them.

Summary: I bought this player to accompany my Media Center PC and carry around my TV shows. I wasn't expecting it to handle my audio files, because I already owned an iPod, but as I quickly learned, trying to squeeze both on my belt, it would have to replace my beloved iPod. But it did a VERY good job with the music. Because of the bulk (compared to the iPod), I found myself using the included wired remote and leaving the player on my belt (in the wonderful included case).

As far as battery life is concerned, I charge it every night and the battery lasts all day, but I am worried of a dead battery on a long flight which is where I need it the most. I looked at the Creative player because of it's longer battery life, but the bulk of that player would make it hard to carry around the way I do my Samsung.

The screen is rather dust prone, but that's not that big of an issue. Other than that, the screen is everything I hoped it to be. I didn't need to strain my eyes to see it and the detail is incredible. But if you connect it to a TV, the picture is acceptable but pixilated.

The only other gripe I have with it is the buttons. While again not a major issue, the navigation buttons are a little small and I occasionally press the wrong one, but I'm nit-picking.

This is a very good video and audio player. I only know of the integration with the Media Center PC (which is excellent), but with a computer without a TV card, I don't see much use for the device. It's small and it packs a punch.
