"Great new PVP!"
Pros: Huge screen, great interface, easy to navigate, long battery life
Cons: minimum support, bulky, no accessories
Summary: The gigabeat v is amazing and definatly better than the ipod, because of its extended battery life, larger screen, and mini joystick(less jumpy than the scroll whell). There is also a built in speaker to share music with others around you and track transitions are speedy. Despite all these good features there is little to no support from toshiba its almost as if the v series doesn't exist according to them. There is also absolutely no case docking bay or any other accessory which doesn't seem to make much sense to me since portable elctronics are so fragile.

I use a 'Chisco' fanny pack I found at Sports Authority that works great with the V30. Since all the controls are on top or easy to reach in the front it's easy to access and still provides fine protection and portability even around the house. It also holds all the included adapters when I travel. In the audio only mode I set the minimum screen time so it quickly goes into low power consumption mode and lasts much longer between charges than the ipod or any player I've ever used! I really don't miss many accessories since like ipod most tend to belay portability, would just drain my wallet and become useless when the player dies or becomes obsolete. The V30 is rare find and a keeper I can recommend without any reservations at all!!
