Pros: Plays avi and dvd video including some files that older players have problems with. Nice remote with large buttons. No hard drive included, which is a plus if you have one you do not need, like I did. Saves some money.

Cons: Built in bit torrent client which is the main differentiating feature does not really work all that well. it works better in some firmware releases posted on support web site, but all of them are very unstable and BT client crashes after a few minutes o

Summary: If you have to buy a hard drive it is probably not worth it, price without hard drive is only slightly lower than comparable players with hard drive included. the only reason to buy this one is if you already have unused hard drive sitting around and you rely on your PC to download files and access streaming video. DO NOT expect any of the other features to work. ONLY the basics.
