"Review of Energizer Charger"
Pros: The red charging and green charged indicators make nifty night-lights. Overcharging your controllers is not a worry, as the lights on the controller(s) quit flashing when the red/green saddle lights turn green. It appears it is a "smart" charger.
Cons: Cheaply made, base is too lightweight. It takes two hands to properly align the controller(s) charge port, but once done, it is very easy. 30 bucks for the unit is a bit high in my opinion. Switching supply AC adapter is very small and cheap.
Summary: Vertical stacking of controllers saves space, and looks awesome. The clear plastic charging saddles conduct the red and green LED lights quite nicely, makes a nifty living room night light, if you leave your controllers plugged-in (you may have any color night light you want, as long as its green).
I looked all over for PS3 controller chargers, and this one looked the business. Works as advertised, looks good on an end table by the couch too.
Biggest drawback is its cheap, lightweight feel, requiring both hands to plug or unplug your controllers.
