Kensington Mini Battery Extender and Charger for iPod and iPhone 1G, 3G (Black)
Starting at: $23.30
CNET Editors' Take
The Kensington Mini Battery Extender is a handy add-on for an iPod or iPhone that's low on battery life.
If your iPod or iPhone (both first and second generation) is low on battery life, you can simply pop on this battery extender from Kensington to extend its battery life by about double. It attaches to the iPod and iPhone via the dock connector. It also comes with a retractable USB charging cable so you can charge both the extender and the iPod/iPhone at the same time. It is currently available for $40.

Cons: Used the product several times on a summer vacation for a 3-week period, it worked fine. Then on a weekend trip in October, it kept losing contact with iPhone's dock connector; got worse as time went on. It is now useless.
Summary: I just contacted Kensington via e-mail about this problem with my 6-month old battery pack. I'll see how helpful they are or aren't. Right now, I can't recommend the product. Mine didn't hold up, and I've seen other reviews where users have had the same ... Expand full review
