Pros very small, quicker than play and charge kit, comes with one battery
Cons it should have another model with 3 or 4 slots for batteries
Summary i recommend this accessory for all 360 owners. it makes life much easier, specially if you play a lot.
Pros Pop in a near-dead battery and charge it. That's it.
Cons It makes a slight high-pitched noise when no battery is in; big deal!
Summary I attempted to save a bit of money by purchasing the mediocre "Play & Charge" set.
After feeling cheated, I was decided to read a few reviews on Cnet about the new "Quick Charge Kit". A few days later, I finally got it.
I couldn't be any more satisified. Pop in a depleted battery, let it charge for.. geez, maybe less than an hour at least. And that is IT! The product does its job perfectly without any long waiting times or malfunctions. So, I highly recommend this product for any 360 owner.
And it makes me think.. what does the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 have to offer? So far, the Wii (recently bought it today) just uses AAs.
Pros Charges fast(er than the Play and Charge Kit), no wires running to your controller, Great for people with multiple controllers
Cons People with only one Controller won't find any use, two batteries take longer to charge than one, runs slightly warm.
Summary This product is much better than the clumbersum (yet required just in case all your batteries are charging) Play and Charge Kit! I am not saying to ditch your Play and Charge Kit, though. I recommend having both. Perfect for those with multiple controllers, not quite as much for one. If there is one thing that dissapoints me most, however, is the fact that it will take longer to charge if you have two batteries on the charger, versus one battery. Still, this is a great buy.
Pros Always 2 batteries ready to go. Looks nice.
Cons Takes 2-3 hrs. to fully charge
Summary I was the first on the list to buy this because, while I had the Play and Charge kit, it was useless while I was playing because I play on a 70" TV and being tethered to the cord was just too close. So, I bought this and an additional battery (Kit comes with one rechargeable battery!) and now I never have to worry about batteries again. A 2-3 hr. charge time for 25-30 hours or playing time seems like a pretty good thing to me. Excellent product. I just wish it would have come out earlier.
Pros Keeps you wireless
Cons Probably need to buy one more battery pack while other is charging
Summary I don't understand why people would get the play and charge kit. It defeats the whole purpose of having WIRELESS controllers. Plus, if you have a headset on, that's TWO wires coming out of your controller. Some people say that the play and charge is convenient since it lets you play your game while the battery is charging. Here's a tip: PAUSE the game and change the battery. Anyways, you still have to get up to connect the play and charge kit to your xbox360. It's not like you can telepathically make the wire come to you. Same amount of time spent.
The quick charge kit is a necessity since the 2 AA batteries that came with my controller died after about 2 days of continuous playing.
