"Error message in the first few days of use." on by triplemock
Pros: protective, but slick case, does not stay charged as long as it's supposed to, and I am 36, not a kid using it constantly.
Cons: Usb connector gets stuck, you have to constantly check that its plugged in as well as you can get it to. My juice pack has had a constant error popping up saying that this accessory is not compatible. I have the new 3gs and it supposedly made for it!
Summary: I registered this product, the day after I got it, as soon as the error(this accessory is not compatible with this phone)popped up I contacted mophie.......NO return e-mail has came from customer service! The right hand side of the phone is not flush with the rest of the case so it hangs, you cannot find a case to carry this product anywhere but mophie, for another 30.00 plus 7.00 shipping, this is a new case I have straight from the manufacturer and I am having problems and they don't care. To put it bluntly. Read the reviews at apple and other sources(NOT Mophie's site) I would not recommend mine, nor will my husband be buying one for his new 3gs. Mine is charged for like an hour and a half after being charged all night! Then the most annoying beep will continuously sound until you turn the pack off. Next person who says this thing looks cool.....well I just might give it to them, because thats ALL it's really good for.Mophie is'nt going to do anything about it so I would be a fool to keep it and buy their case and spend another 40.00 fricking dollars. I'm sick of these companies not standing behind their products.

"the jury is still out !" on by coder 01
Pros: adds much needed extra juice !!!
my charge typically lasts all day, but is close to being run down by night time. this pack gives much needed peace of mind that you will not run out of power whether on a trip or just on the go around home.Cons: it does make the phone a bit bulky and it will not fit in the belt case i use. but again, you can just take it off when u want it in the case.
my phone died after first use, still waiting 2 hear from mophie that its not their pack before i try againSummary: phone died one day after using juice pack for first time. i really do not know if this is coincidental? cnet review is lame, the phone can charge and sync through mini usb attachment as opposed to what cnet says, but did my juice pack kill my iphone?

"Does not keep the charge" on by Richard1225
Pros: Nice style and light weight. Ease of use.
Cons: First unit would not keep a charge after a few months of infrequent use. Mophie replaced it with a "new" unit which does not hold a charge even when not attached to the iPhone 3GS.
Summary: Lack of quality control of this product that would allow it to work for at least a year is a serious limitation. I recommend against buying it.

"I really wanted to like this pack." on by PleasureBass
Pros: Long Battery life, great for traveling, charges fairly fast, etc.
Cons: Warranty plan is not customer friendly.
USB port is a problem with my new replacement unit as well as two of my friends unit's.
( I suggested they buy them, sorry guy's)Summary: I purchased 2 units one for me and my wife, due to
data errors occurring ever few minutes on both units I sent them back.
They replaced them with "NEW" units (quote).
But Uh Oh! there's no warranty on the NEW replacements because they
only cover one year from my original purchases, I had just passed that point,
so no coverage for the NEW replacements. Meanwhile, the USB port
has fallen inside the unit on one of the NEW units.
They offered me a discount on another new one. -
"This thing has saved me so many times" on by albania8989
Pros: Extra battery without external dongle-like devices. I never lose the juice pack 'cause it's always on the phone. It wraps around the phone, so it gives some added protection.
Cons: I have to carry a micro USB cable with me to charge it, it doesn't use the Apple connector or a mini USB connector.
Summary: If you need extra battery this is really the way to go. The added protection is a plus.
