"Great product! Plan to get another!" on by MicStr27

Pros: Easy to charge batteries. Batteries hold a long charge (as long as any rechargeable AA I've used). Stylish displays.

Cons: Can't find the batteries sold separately to have a spare or two around.

Summary: Not anything to complain about here. Have used these extensively since last Christmas (nearly 10 months) and have re-charged several times (my boys play A LOT of wii). If it wasn't for our dog chewing up one of the wii remotes, and needing another spare battery for another wiimote, then I'd be perfectly happy. Now, I need to buy another - although not a bad idea, as we have four wii remotes.

"Great idea - but flawed." on by gmarino

Pros: Great Design. Easy to charge (don't have to remove batteries or wii cover). Hole in battery cover to get to Wii Remote Sync button

Cons: Lights are obnoxiously bright and cannot be dimmed.
One batter stopped working after just 2 charges.
    Battery contact broke off

Summary: I really liked this out of the box. Great design - magnetic induction charger is a neat idea that looks and works great!
Easy to charge - just put the remote near the charger and it magnetically connects to it.
Cord has "extra" female receptacle so that it does not chew up an outlet.
Hole and tool for reaching the "red button" for syncing to wii without removing the battery cover. I think I want the black over the white - even with my 2 black/2 white wii remotes. I was really disappointed when after just 2 charges, one of the battery's just stopped working - and when I took it out, the metal battery contact broke off. So it's going back to Costco (twenty four dollars!!)

The batteries are sealed in the battery compartment - so even though I know that a AA rechargeable cell can replace it when it goes bad, you can't get to the cells without destroying it.

Then I read another review that the batteries stopped holding a charge after 3 months - what disappointment.

After the battery stopped working, I took it out and the battery contact broke off (taking it back to the store)

This is a great idea that has some flaws.

"convenient with problems" on by pking222

Pros: Easier to charge, long life per charge

Cons: Batteries only last 3 months under light use

Summary: I love the idea and the convenience. I don't like the batteries holding up both of the batteries lasted 3-4 months and I haven't found any way to buy just the batteries. The Nyko charge station batteries hold up much better.
