Plain old wall chargers are so 2008; power up your Palm Pre with the ultracool Touchstone docking kit.

Review:

The Palm Pre ships with a standard wall charger in the box, but the cooler, flashier way to power your smartphone is with the Touchstone charger. The Touchstone Charging Kit includes the Touchstone dock and back cover (needed to magnetically connect the device to the dock). You can even accept calls while the phone is charging on the dock as the smartphone will automatically activate the speakerphone if you choose to take the incoming call. The charging kit costs $69.99; alternatively, you can buy the dock and back cover separately for $49.99 and $19.99, respectively.

- superb attention to detail!

Cons Should have come with an additional mini-usb cable, since you will basically dedicate the one that came with the phone to stay in the Touchstone.

Summary This is the kind of cool product design that has made that other smartphone manufacturer so famous.
