"Nice unit, nice sound, great programming"
Pros: Sports Ticker, XM SureConnect, built-in FM modulator, Remote Control
Cons: Somewhat small buttons...and that's reaching. The Remote control isn't backlit...and I'm really reaching now!
Summary: I bought this unit in April 2007 to replace an original Delphi XM SkyFi, which served me well from 2003-2007. I was at first unimpressed with the static and difficulty in pulling in the signal UNTIL I installed the XM SureConnect device on my car. This completely transformed the unit and made it enjoyable again. The built-in FM modulator works quite well, and you can choose any station you like (my old SkyFi only gave you 8 frequencies to choose from). As I spend a LOT of time in the car for my work, XM is a wonderful luxury for not much money. My son and I love the Sports Ticker, and we have many of our favorite teams programmed in there. In fact, if your team is playing and the game will be broadcast on XM, the Ticker tells you what time and on which channel to listen. Though the buttons on the face are small, the tuning knob works well, and the Remote Control (don't laugh) is terrific for a quick channel change. It also has a "jump" button to take you back (as in alternating between Reggae Music and the Hockey game!) I've been impressed with the Xpress - maybe the others never hooked up the SureConnect device?? It did make ALL the difference in the world.
