"A nice way to send your content whole-house"
Pros: Quick, east set-up. Nice sound, Simple on-Screen Menu
Cons: Slow to respond Remote
Summary: I waited almost a year to receive my pre-order nonWLAN version and had it integrated into my whole-house tecStream AV distribution system in just a few minutes. I'm glad that I paid the pre-order price and Griffin Customer Service was excellent in taking care of some order and mis-ship issues.
It is a very east UI to navigate and I'm thrilled to be able to hear my Playlists throughout the house and also listen to some Internet radio stations, which is a bonus. I only wish there was a way to save my favorite radio stations so that I didn't have to scroll through everything.
There are a lot of choices on ShoutCast.
I don't have a Video iPod and can't give you any feedback here. Its still a nice gadget to have in order to enhance my tecStream AV system and enjoy better quality sound. The price is right.
