"Plays like a 100 dollar Wal-mart guitar."
Pros: Should help beginners learn. Makes it easy to see where your fingers are suppose to go.
Cons: Six hundred is too much for a strat clone. Sound is noisy.
Summary: A computer and program really can't replace a skilled guitar teacher. For a lot less money you could get a Squier or Mexistrat for a lot less and spend the money on lessons.
This guitar does have good features. The LEDs in the fret board would have been a huge help for the first year of learning. However, once you hit a certain level, you'll find the LEDs offer no aid. Knowing where to put your fingers is only one aspect of playing guitar.
If seriously considering this guitar, make sure you're going to stick with it because 600 is a decent amount of money to drop on a guitar built for beginners.
